The SEASIDE SCHOOL™ Board of Directors today announced the appointment of Drew Ward as Executive Director of SEASIDE SCHOOL™, formally naming the longtime school leader to the organization’s top leadership position after he served as Interim Executive Director since March 2026.

The official kickoff party for the 25th Annual SEASIDE SCHOOL™ Half Marathon + 5K Race Weekend will bring together the Gulf Coast’s top chefs and restaurants, a night of live music headlined by The Velcro Pygmies, and a community ready to celebrate in support of the SEASIDE SCHOOL™.

SEASIDE SCHOOL™ has once again earned Florida's highest school grade (A+) from the Florida Department of Education for the 2025–2026 school year, marking the school's 25th consecutive year receiving the state's highest distinction.

SEASIDE SCHOOL™ celebrated a dazzling and impactful evening on Saturday, May 2, as the inaugural Dancing with the Emerald Coast Stars, presented by Ascension Sacred Heart and in partnership with Fred Astaire Dance Studios Fort Walton Beach, raised $142,347 in support of the Seacoast Collegiate High School Expansion Project.
