The Friends of the Coastal Branch Library invite the community to their highly anticipated biannual Book Sale, taking place on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 9 AM to 4 PM at the Coastal Branch Library located at 437 Greenway Trail, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. This much-loved event offers an incredible opportunity for book lovers to discover new treasures while supporting library programs throughout the year, with all proceeds benefiting the Friends of the Coastal Branch Library in Walton County.

For over 20 years, the Friends of the Coastal Branch Library have been drawing book lovers from across the region to their popular biannual sale. This year’s event is set to be the biggest yet, featuring more than 3,500 books across every genre, all priced at $2 or less—except for some vintage finds. Families will love the unbeatable deal on children’s books, available at 5 for just $1. And it’s not just books—CDs and DVDs will also be on hand, making this the perfect event for readers, music enthusiasts, and movie buffs alike.

"This is a fantastic opportunity for the community to come together, find great deals, and support our local library,” said Carol Buchanan, Book Shop Manager. “With over 2,500 books from recent donations added to our already impressive inventory, it’s an exciting day for book lovers, and it truly is a social event that brings us all closer as a community.”

Proceeds from the book sale help fund a variety of beloved library programs, including the Summer Reading Program, the Adult Winter Series, and Artist Receptions.

Attendees are encouraged to bring cash or checks, as card payments will not be accepted. Whether you’re looking to build your personal library, find unique vintage books, or simply support your local library, this sale is an event you won’t want to miss.
